Book Review: A B SEE

A B See is a beautifully illustrated board book that takes the traditional format of an ABC concept book and turns it into a scavenger hunt for little ones.

Each letter is comprised of multiple illustrations of objects that all begin with that letter - so for the letter L, for example, studious eyes can find a lion, lock, lemon, ladybugs, lantern, etc.. There is also a small "letter within a letter" hidden in the drawing as well.

A double page spread towards the back shows all 26 letters, with the final six pages listing alphabetically all of the objects to find in this creative hide and seek alphabet offering.

This is a board book that can certainly be used with older audiences - even tweens! Share the book, and then have tweens work in groups of 2-3 to create their own hidden drawing letters, and create a book of your own. What would you do with this title in a program?
