Tiny is Back!

Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan is one of those books that sucks you in with teenage drama and moments of love and support. The characters form a group of wacked out misfits who are various shades of high school teens. One of these characters is Tiny Cooper. He is the biggest gayest guy in the school and football team. He is also writing an autobiographical musical throughout the book that is performed at the end. He's a very busy guy it seems. While we get snippets of this musical in the alternating chapters told from the points of view of Will Grayson and Will Grayson we are never privy to read the entire thing, but now that's going to change! Co-author David Levithan has released the information that he will be writing the musical that Tiny pours his entire dramatic self into. Entertainment Weekly writes, "Hold Me Closer: The Tiny Cooper Story (March 2015) will tell of Tiny’s birth up to his ongoing quest for true love, complete with “big, lively, belty” musical numbers." To read EW's interview with Levithan click here. This is giving me something to look forward to in the book world of 2015! I can't help but wonder if there will be iTunes tracks to accompany the reading? How about the audio book?!?! I may be getting ahead of myself... If you haven't read Will Grayson, Will Grayson you should and then you will be prepared for what I am sure will be Tony nominated Hold Me Closer: The Tiny Cooper Story!
