YA Contemporary Fiction Fake

I just can't help but share The Onion's take on what some are calling the "John Green effect". Books about teenagers dealing with problems in the modern world have now been categorized as Young Adult Contemporary Fiction. Here the satirical news source writes a general summary for a new "groundbreaking" YA novel. That cover is giving me shades of The Fault and Our Stars/Where Things Come Back. In other John Green news the film adaptation of his novel Paper Towns has been given the release date of July 31, 2015. I can already hear hold lists growing all around the county! Stock your shelves! Another John Green-pocolypse is coming! (Keep those teens reading! Woo hoo!)
