Rush Limbaugh Wins Author of the Year Award at Children's Book Choice Awards
Rush Limbaugh, Children’s Book Author of the Year winner, made a brief surprise appearance at the Children's Book Choice Awards to accept his award for Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims: Time Travel Adventures with Exceptional Americans (S. & S., 2013) before slipping out of the ceremony. 34 Nassau and Suffolk libraries have purchased the title, with only a handful of libraries cataloging it as a children's book. The vast majority seem to have the title living in the YA section.
