As we begin to set up this blog, we are hoping to share certain features with you on a fairly predictable time frame. Hence - Friday Films or Friday Book Trailers. Today, I share with you the official trailer for a hotly anticipated film adaptation of the 1994 Newbery winner: The Giver by Lois Lowry. It is obvious already that some liberties have been taken with the text, most specifically, Jonas has gone from a 12 year old boy in the book to a 16 year old teen in the movie.
