The North Shore Children's Department hosted a Star Wars Reads Day event for families. With an attendance of over 100, teen volunteers were essential. A teen greeted all attendees and offered them an official Star Wars Reads Day button. Teens manned the various stations: helping young children create origami Yodas, make masks of their favorite characters, create Yoda puppets, and play word games. Involving teens helped to make a successful event run smoothly.
